When prospective students visit Mankato State University, their first impression of the school is formed in Ostrander Auditorium. The multi-use space is where admissions and orientation events are held in addition to daily lectures, films, theater productions and other events.
A recent renovation rebuilt the space entirely. Along with impressive new interiors, state-of-the-art technology was incorporated into the space–including new lighting, sound system and AV presentation and conferencing systems. ACSDI was recruited to customize controls for the Crestron DigitalMedia systems.
We’re not only state-of-the-art, but the system has been well designed to allow it to grow and change as technology continues to change.
– Scott Hagebak, MSU Operations Director
Crestron TPS-6X and TPS-4000 touchpanels were employed to control every AV device–including source selection, projectors and screens, confidence monitors, a DSP, and lighting control presets.
